About

Well, pull up a chair, child. I’m Grandpa Ezra.

I spent most of my life as a carpenter. Framed houses, built cabinets, fixed more porch steps than I can count. These days my hands are slower, but my mornings are the same: a cup of black coffee, my old Bible, and this porch swing that creaks just right.

Somewhere along the way I learned that the Lord builds better than any of us. He takes crooked boards and makes them true. So every morning and every evening, I sit out here and share a verse, a little story, and a short prayer. Nothing fancy. Just an old man and the Good Book.

If your heart’s heavy, you’re welcome here. Stay as long as you like.

You’re loved more than you know.
